When you visit most furniture stores, you are presented with a giant room with tons and tons of couches. Next door, is a room with tons and tons of beds. This shopping experience doesn't allow you to envision the furniture in your home, and causes you to judge each piece on its own which is not what you will be doing when you bring it to your house.
